RETRACTION
Dear Editor,
Please allow me space to retract my endorsement of a letter to the editor.
In the April 18, 2015 edition of Kaieteur News I endorsed an article titled; Journalistic errors continue to irk umpires. I hereby retract my endorsement of the article which suggested that Mr. Sean Devers is ignorant of the laws of cricket.
I wish to make it clear that the contents of the article was never intended to be libelous or defamatory or to in anyway besmirch Mr. Dever’s good name.
Any inconvenience caused to Mr. Devers is hereby wholly regretted and most unfortunate.
