In keeping with its pledge of assistance to special needs institutuions, Digicel paid a visit to another special needs school, making donations of computers, work stations, books and a sewing machine to the institution yesterday.
The Tuschen Deaf Academy yesterday benefitted from Digicel’s generosity, which is as a part of its eighth anniversary celebrations.
The Tuschen Deaf Academy caters for the hearing impaired. The students range in age from 13 to the oldest student who is 38.
It is run by Mr. Azim Bacchus, whose daughter is also hearing impaired.
