2015 Golf season tee-off today
Lusignan Golf Club will open their 2015 season today at their Lusignan East Coast Demerara location and President, David Mohamad, is hopeful that golfers will turn out in full for this first competition of the year, so that a brisk start of the year’s activities will proceed.
Grounds are in fair condition, with the grounds-staff working diligently to ensure that the greens are in top form for the competition. Drains, sand bunkers and fairways are well kept. Tee-off time is 12:00 midday.
Captain Chen Deo observes that the Club Tournament is a very good warm-up for the sponsored tournaments scheduled, of which a David De Caires/Basil Sukhram Memorial Tournament is already fixed for Sunday 15th February. Today’s Competition will be of the Open Medal Play format.
