Let the people of Guyana know the real truth
Dear Sir,
On April 14, 2014, you the Commissioner General of the government department popularly called the GRA or the “Guyana Revenue Authority “ swore to an Affidavit in Answer to a motion that was before the Supreme Court of Judicature, before the Chief Justice and inter alia made the following statement,
“ 5. That there is no entity legally known as the Guyana Revenue Authority. I am advised by my attorneys-at-law and verily believe that though the notice of motion and affidavit in support thereof was served upon the Revenue Authority, the Revenue Authority is not a party to these proceedings and consequently this action ought to be struck out.”
Come, come Mr. Sattaur, this part of the legal battle is now over and the GRA or rather the RA has won round one. Congratulations are in order for you and whatever the real name is of the government department that you have touted to be the “Best run Department” in all of Guyana.
Now is the best time as any to STOP perpetuating this ILLEGALITY. You more than anyone else ought to come clean to the Guyanese people. Don’t you think so?
Try and explain how it all began and what are the legal implications of the farce that you have committed on the populace? We are all interested in your honest explanations. Tell us whose idea it was and maybe just maybe, what were the real motives for this masquerade reaching where it is now. Or was this statement sworn just in the hope that the motion would be thrown out without any real hullaballoo?
Come on and bring it on Mr. Sattaur, I get the smell of SCAM and CONSPIRACY written all over this one. We the PEOPLE of GUYANA need urgent answers to these questions. RSVP
