Following the intervention of the World Football Organization (FIFA) to quell the raging brouhaha among the
Clinton Urling
executive of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), the two-man delegation (FIFA), Marco Leal and Primo Corvaro, had intimated that FIFA had taken steps to regularize activities in the sport.
They had said that a normalization committee would have been installed to revise the GFF constitution and its members and generally conduct the business of the sport.
That committee has since been released and will be chaired by former President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, Clinton Urling with the members being Karen Pilgrim, Rabin Chandarpal, Stuart May and Tariq Williams.
The group will be in charge of revising the GFF constitution as well as to manage the daily business of the GFF subsequent to the election of office bearers not later than September 30 2015. It was also established that those committee members will be supported and guided by FIFA and will not be eligible for any executive position when the elections are eventually called.
