Is David Granger the enemy, or the PPP government ?

Dear Editor,

This is my mindset over the lawlessness which played out in Linden with some PNC Party members calling themselves ‘stalwarts’ and trying to embarrass David Granger who is the Leader of the Party.
Who are they stalwarts for?  Would they have done that to Forbes Burnham? NO WAY! But they take advantage of David Granger.
Yes, Mr. Granger has made some mistakes.  Yes he allows Robert Corbin to steer his ship. Yes, he could well do without the likes of Amna Ally and Oscar Clarke. But, is this how we deal with these matters?
Our people are paying high prices for living in their own country, courtesy of the PPP Government. We want a way out. Is this how we do it? Certainly not.  Is David Granger the enemy? No! The enemy is the PPP Government, which continues to strangle our people without remorse. That is where the fight must be taken to.
What they have essentially done now is, made up a bed, taken off their undies and said to the PPP – come on, have your way!
Thanks to the perpetrators who are so bent on power.  Dr. Ptolomey Reid once said that everyone cannot be the Leader at the same time.
Carry on smartly, Stalwarts! Continue to allow yourselves to be manipulated! Unfortunately, it is not Granger who is the laughing stock – it is the PEOPLE’S NATIONAL CONGRESS. Go Linden! Let us know the time of the next parade. Linden is winning.
For starters, check the front page of the Sunday Chronicle. Who is the recipient of the first 10,000.00 voucher? The choice of ethnicity was no mistake, it was deliberate.  Who are considered the most needful? Are the Linden Stalwarts even looking on?
Or are they so caught up in their own power struggle that they are blinded to the overall problems which their people face.
Give them ten thousand dollars and get them to say something nice. Then continue to pay them paltry wages, raise their electricity/water and other rates so that the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer.  The next photo of a recipient will be of another ethnicity and that person will have to learn their thank you remarks like a poem.
