GOA/GBA DISCOVER Open tourney for this weekend entries close on Friday
The Guyana Badminton Association in collaboration with the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) is set to
Badminton shuttlecock
host the DISCOVER Open Badminton tournament this Saturday and Sunday, June 21-22.
This tournament forms part of the GOA’s list of annual activities for the Olympic season. Serve off time is 13:00hrs on Saturday at Queen’s College Courts.
Participants will contest the men’s and ladies singles as well as the men’s, ladies and mixed doubles categories.
Since this is an Open tournament, selected junior players will be afforded the opportunity to play, depending on their levels. The GBA is anticipating a large turnout of players despite a number of players being involved in end of term tests. Entries will close on Friday at 18:00hrs.
