Aurora and Invaders Masters to clash in SECC final
Aurora Night Riders will clash with Invaders Masters in the final of the South Essequibo Cricket Committee 40 overs Competition today at the NOC Ground.
Aurora Night Riders defeated NOC (a) in the first semifinal played at The NOC Ground and Invaders Masters beat Rising Stars Sports Club by 8 wickets at Pomona Ground.
Rising Stars were bowled out for 79 with left arm spinner Beesham Seepersaud taking 4 wickets for 5 runs from 4 overs and Devanand Madho 3 for 15 from 5 overs.
Invaders Masters then hit off the required runs for the loss of 2 wickets with Kassim Bacchus making 28 and Ramnarine Deocharran 27 not out.
There will be trophies and cash prizes up for grabs. Play will commence at 10:30 hrs.
