Scramblers are Joseph Memorial Dominoes Champs
Scramblers marked 88 games to capture in the inaugural Orin Joseph memorial nationwide million dollar dominoes tournament when the final was contested on Sunday night last at the National Gymnasium. Basil Bradshaw and Seon Hancock scored 17 games each, while Leroy Ridley supported with 15 and Rita Scarder 14. Assassin placed second with 96 games and Dream Team third on 65.
Ceon Ambrose chalked 16, Rawle Peters 15, Linden Bowman and Stefon Duncan 12 apiece for Assasssin.
Richard Hussain recorded 17 while Dexter Pyle and Andy Victor made 12 each for Dream Team.

Scramblers collected a trophy and $500,000, Assassin a trophy and $300,000 and Dream Team a trophy and $100,000. TNT pocketed $60,000 and a trophy for placing fourth.
The first double love in the playoffs was shared by Raymond Alli ($7,500) of All Season Pick Up, while the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for Female and Male was won by Rita Scarder and Seon Hancock ($5,000 each) of Scramblers respectively.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony president of the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) Faye Joseph who sponsored the competition in memory of her late husband and former president of the GDA Orin Joseph congratulated winners and thanked the other participating teams.
