Mashabo man slashes wife
A Mashabo woman was referred to the Suddie Public Hospital moments after her husband slashed her across her face Sunday afternoon.
Reports from the Amerindian community stated that the man cut his wife after he caught her drinking beer with her cousin in the Community.
The woman was taken for treatment to the health worker but her injury was too severe and she was transferred to the hospital on the Coast.
The man has been known to display a violent disposition. Several years ago he stabbed his brother after a heated argument.
