Allie / Evelyn dominate Endurance Meet

The team of Afraz Allie and Keith Evelyn captured the overall prize when the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club held its season opening Endurance Meet on Sunday last at the South Dakota Circuit.

Allie in the process also carted off the fastest lap time of 1:22.435to crown an outstanding day.

The full results of the day are as follows:

A CLASS (0-1500CC) Laps

1) Mohamed Ali — 72

2) Harold Hopkinson — 69

3) David Mangar — 68

B CLASS (1501CC – 1600CC) Laps

1) Dawolu Harper — 54

2) Sharma Khan — 43

3) Joel Singh —- 30

C CLASS (1601CC – 2300CC) Laps

1) Syed Hassan and Roshan Ali 80

2) Roshan Ali and Brian ten Pow 74

3) W.R. Reaz and Saeed Bacchus 58

D CLASS (2301 CC – Unlimited)

1) Afraz Allie and Keith Evelyn 83

2) Adrian Fernandes and Annand Ramchand 83

3) Ravi Singh and Shivo 61

Overall winner was Afraz Allie with 83 laps, while the best lap time of 1:22.435 was also recorded by him.
