The woes of the Parika Facade
Dear Editor,
On August 20, 2013 your newspapers carried a story, “Legit Parika Facade Residents want squatters removed.”
As an R.D.C. Councillor, I have raised this matter with the Chairman. Ms. Kathlene Armstrong of A.P.N.U. did the same but nothing has been done and several property owners are denied proper access to their homes.
In one ease, the owner Jonell Van Daimen has to gain access to her own home through a neighbour’s yard.
The Region Three Chairman gets angry when this matter is raised, but nothing is being done to stop this lawlessness of squatting in front of people’s homes. Because of this, Parika Facade is faced with a big nuisance problem due to poor drainage.
