Support for truth and reconciliation commission
Dear Editor,
Transparency International Guyana Chapter (TIGI) wishes to register its support for the proposal for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission for Guyana. Transparency International Guyana believes that an independent international individual, probably from South Africa, familiar with the process should chair the commission. We urge that the truth and reconciliation commission be appointed with alacrity.
