Guyana will be represented by Randolph ‘The Accomplisher’ Morgan at the 42nd Men’s World Powerlifting Championships from October 29 to November 4, 2012 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Morgan, who will compete in the 83kgs class and is the Reigning National and Caribbean Overall Champion, said that he is excited to represent the Golden Arrowhead once again and as has been the norm, is aiming to do his country proud yet again.
The local strongman said that he would be attempting to break the world Deadlift record of 354kgs and is confident he’ll achieve the feat. His current best is 323kgs (711 lbs). He intensified training about three weeks ago and he is almost in top shape going into Puerto Rico.
The four-time and current Caribbean champ has also been dominant at the CAC, Commonwealth and Pan American levels.
To date Fitness Express has been in Morgan’s corner with regard to financial assistance. He said he is still to pursue a few other business entities before leaving Guyana on Friday for Puerto Rico.
