RBC/Tropical Rhythms 60-Miler on Sunday
The nations riders will continue their hectic schedule this weekend when the 2nd Ansa Mc al, Tropical Rhythms sponsored 60-mile cycle road race organized by Roraima Bikers Club is staged on the East Coast of Demerara on Sunday.
Race time is 08:00hrs with riders moving off from Ansa Mc al’s Beterverwagting Industrial Site Head office proceeding to Mahaicony through the Old Road before returning via the New Road to finish on the Beterverwagting Public Road.
Veteran and mountain bikes competitors will proceed to Mahaica via the Old Road before returning through the New Road for the finish line.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first six senior riders to cross the line while the first 3 juniors, veterans and mountain bike cyclists will also be rewarded.
Representatives of the sponsors will be on hand to witness the conclusion of the race and assist with the presentation of prizes.
Last year’s senior winner was Warren ‘Forty’ Mc Kay; Paul De Nobrega won the junior category while Kennard Lovell was the veteran winner.
