GCA season to commence today

Due to the heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding experienced in the city during last week, the planned resumption of the Georgetown Cricket Association’s 2011/2012 cricket season did not materialize last Saturday.
With the improved weather conditions this week the season is scheduled to resume today with the following matches:-
Noble House Seafoods 2nd Division Cricket Competition: Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th March from 10:30 hrs – GCC vs Everest at MYO – Umpires: Montgomery Chester & Andrew Greaves,
GNIC vs 3rd Class at GNIC – Umpires: Joseph Jeffrey & Delvin Austin, GYO vs GDF at GYO – Umpires: Shannon Crawford & Dawchan Nagasar, Vikings CC vs Malteenoes SC at YMCA – Umpires: Matthew Kissoon & Nolan Hawke.
The GCA would also like to notify all member clubs and Female cricketers in Georgetown that the Brain street Under-15(2012) Cricket Competition is scheduled to commence on Monday April 2. Practice sessions for the Georgetown female cricketers are scheduled to begin on Monday March 19 at 16:00 hrs at the MYO ground in Woolford Avenue. All interested female cricketers in Georgetown can attend and be registered.
