DEAR EDITOR,
With Christmas and the end of the year celebration upon us, we should stay focused on the message of the season — to love and show appreciation for each other and to share our goodies with the less fortunate. Amidst the gaiety and festive activity of our Christmas season, let us not forget this important message behind the holiday.
Also, we should think about the season and the New Year in terms of uplifting our lives spirituality and materially and to show kindness for others. We should look to improve the wellbeing of our families as well as others around us and our larger communities. We must keep each other’s best interests uppermost in our minds. We must help those in need and move away from selfishness and deceit.
During the season, we should think of how we can all give greater meaning to life as well as to act to give positive meaning to other people’s lives. The season is associated with lights. Let us find ourselves truly illuminated with the meaning of the season both for now and into the New Year. Season’s Greetings & Happy New Year! Vishnu Bisram
