Digicel launches Christmas promotion and first interactive station
Digicel, one of Guyana’s cellular networks, has renovated the store in City Mall,

Regent Street. This comes at the beginning of the Christmas season when business is expected to be at its highest.
Consumers shopping there will be able to participate in the Christmas promotion.
Located on the ground floor of the mall the store has been transformed into a digital world. The renovation was months in the making, according to a promotion representative.
Interesting new features have been added such as the first interactive station and internally lighted signs.
The interactive station offers customers a feel of the product before purchase. The station displays four smart phones with an internet connection and access to all features.
According to a Digicel representative, “It is an understatement to simply call it a renovation. The store was rebuilt from the ground up. Everything you see here now, is a new installment.”
Customers can purchase a cellular device for as low as $5,720 and grab a chance of winning millions of dollars. But purchasing a phone is not the only way to become involved.
Top up $300 or more electronically to collect letters to spell R-U-S-H and win $1,500 Free Credit for each correct spelling. Additionally, spell RUSH every week for a chance to be one in five winners to share $2.5 million cash.
