Dear Editor,
Recently I have noticed the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) Inspectors are making checks at the different workplaces in the city and checking on employers in regards to their employees’ NIS contributions.
I must congratulate the NIS inspectors but my suggestion is that they visit these work places at least four times a year.
I am also suggesting that the inspectors should check on those security services, the different night clubs, the domestic workers, the grocery shops and stores, car wash services and especially those construction services and sales girls.
At the end of the day most of them are cheated where the NIS contributions are concerned. Name withheld
