Nigel’s Junior Tennis Classic starts tomorrow
The annual Nigel’s Junior Tennis Tournament starts tomorrow, Tuesday August 23 at the Pegasus Hotel Tennis Courts. The tournament will feature 9 categories ranging from Under 10 to Under 18 and will be played in round robin format followed by elimination matches.
Game format will be a best of three tie-break (Pro sets) for U14 and U12 and best of three Tie-Break (Full Sets) for U18. Entrants may register by phone to numbers 642-5672, 626-7987 or 685-0889,email dlyrmdyhn@yahoo.com or nigbev@hotmail.com or by returning their registration form to any GLTA official.
The cost is $800 for the first category, and $400 for additional categories any one player would like to compete in. Matches start at 9:00am and will be scheduled consecutively throughout the day as each match is completed. The Opening Ceremony tomorrow is at 9:00 am. The tournament will finish on August 28.
