Local referees and judges would have an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and sharpen their skills when the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) in collaboration with the World Boxing Council Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) host a professional referees/judges seminar for local officials in Guyana and around the Caribbean.
The seminar will be held at the Georgetown Club and activities get underway this Saturday from 10:00hrs. The function will be facilitated by W.B.C. representative, Mr. William Boodhoo. The purpose of the function is to tutor local officials and bring them in line with the officiating requirements of WBC/CABOFE. The Seminar is sponsored exclusively by the WBC Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE).
