Media team to contest Kares Engineering T10
Play GT&T in warm up game this evening at National Park
A 15-member squad has been named to represent the Guyana Media Team (GMT) in the Kares Engineering National Ten10 Tapeball cricket competition as part of the Guyana Media Team.
The GMT will play in the Georgetown Zone of the competition and will be captained by Sean Devers of Kaieteur News.
In preparation for the Kare’s tournament, the GMT will engage Telephone Giants GT&T in a warm-up game which is being dubbed a grudge match this evening from 19:00hrs under lights at the National Park.
When the two sides met before, GT&T prevailed in indifferent circumstances; the Media side is aiming to turn the tables this time around.
The squad which will be Managed by Franklin Wilson is as follows; Sean Devers (Captain), Jermaine Neblett (NCN-Freelancer), John Ramsingh (NCN), Mosi Peters (NCN), Rene Stoby (NCN), Marlon Munroe (Stabroek News), Avenash Ramzan (Guyana Times), Muneshwer Narine (Guyana Times), Rajiv Bisnath (Guyana Times), Chad Ramsarup (MTV), Royston Drakes (Capitol News), Esan Griffith (Capitol News), Rawle Toney (GNNL), Keezan Brummell (GNNL), Calvin Roberts (GNNL).
Members are expected to be at the National Park for 18:30hrs today.
