Race walkers take to the track this weekend
National race walk champion, Rudolph Mitchell will attempt to enforce his dominance over his compatriots when the Cavalier Sports and Tour Club (CS&TC) continues its activities in commemoration of the death anniversary of the late executive President, Dr Cheddi Jagan.
The event will be a walk that commences at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport and culminates at the Soesdyke Neighbourhood Democratic Council office.
Participants are urged to be at the starting line at 06:00hrs to facilitate a prompt start at 06:30hrs. Once again walkers will vie for prizes donated by members of the business community including trophies, medals and other prizes.
