Dear Editor,
In the past, there is poor planning in choosing sites for buildings. An example is the New Amsterdam Hospital.
It is built on land prone to flooding, sandwiched between educational institutions, situated at a junction prone to accidents and a site where there is no room for expansion.
The Specialty Hospital should be built on land catered for expansion, easily accessible from highway, not prone to flooding, in a sparsely populated area and can accommodate medi-vac helicopter. Sherlock Rawana, PhD
