Yassen was never manager of GEC
Dear Editor,
Allow me to inform Freddie Kissoon that Yassen was never the manager of the then Guyana Electricity Corporation (GEC).
He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors, as such the tailor man and company had nothing to do with actual power generation, their job was to see that the then GEC got what was needed for power generation like fuel, major spare parts etc. and the right person for the top position.
