Large Turnout expected for STAG Beer MASH Golf tournament
Ansa McAl is going all out this Saturday when it sponsors the STAG Beer Mashramani Golf Tournament which is expected to have a huge field of over 40 players turn out at the Lusignan Golf Club.
The course is said to be in good condition with light rough and smooth greens so
scores are expected to be in the high 60s and low 70s across the field. Among the favourites for the prestigious event are last week’s winner Albert Russell, Guyana Open champion Avinash Persaud and Marketing Manager for Ansa McAl Troy Cadogan, who will make his debut appearance for 2011.
The format is medal play and tee time is 12:30pm, assembly is 12:15pm. Prizes include the first three net positions, best gross and nearest to the pin.
Ansa McAl is also a proud sponsor of the club’s youth programme that is offering free lessons to youths between the ages of 10 to 17 years. Anyone interested can call the club at 220-5660 to register.
