Brazilian grass track riders entertain Rupununi residents
Following an invitation from the Rupununi Chamber of Commerce recently, approximately 16 Brazilian grass track riders descended on Lethem and put on a show which thrilled area residents last Sunday at the Rupununi Rodeo Site.
The motorcyclists turned in an impressive display of daredevil riding as the crowd on hand left the venue extremely satisfied and calling for another show soon.
In this photo Helzio Macedo De Oliveira (centre), who was outstanding during the activity, winning several races, pose with second placed Willen Oliveira Pereira (left) and third position Lemar Leite De Lima after one of their races.
The riders had claimed respective $100,000, $60,000 and $20,000 rewards for their efforts.
