Dear Editor,
I think that your readers would like to know about the company that our government has awarded US$15.4 million to for the building of the access road to the Amaila Falls Hydro Project.
First I did an extensive search in the gazette of West Palm Beach and public records of the states of Georgia and Florida. These two states are places that Synergy claims to have done road work for. Neither state has any records of this company performing such work as culvert building and road paving.
I spent about six months researching this firm and came up with many companies bearing the names but only one with Fip Motilal as the Chief Executive Officer. This particular entity is located at the following address:
951 Sansbury’s Way Suite 204, West Palm Beach, FL. 33411
The company’s lone contact phone number is 561-296-4203 and its web address is
http://synergyholdings.net/index.htm with an email address for contact listed as follow
President : Makeshwar Fip Motilall, Office Manager : Melissa Nermisan, Sales: sales@synergyholdings.net; Tech Support: techsupport@synergyholdings.net
Marketing: info@synergyholdings.net
In trying to reach this company by phone no one answered. I visited the address provided by the company’s website and found that it is located in a strip mall with a few other businesses.
Synergy Holdings Inc., from the physical appearance of the building, appears to be nothing more than a store front operation. The City of West Palm Beach or any other has no public records of this company performing public works for them.
I checked with the state government of Georgia and the same thing no record of this company. The list of incorporated companies for Florida shows that Synergy Holdings was incorporated in 2007.For a company claiming to do so much public work along with land development and renewable energy their website is maintained by a company called Gendola Webworks which would allow anyone with the cash to set up a website to be maintained by them. Synergy Holdings set up their website July 2007 and last updated 7 July 2008.
Besides Mr. Motilall as CEO they are no other employees listed. Due to the fact I am a private citizen I am unable to obtain Mr. Motilall’s Internal Revenue Services (IRS) tax documents showing how much corporate taxes were paid by this company.
I wonder how much background checking did the government of Guyana conduct before awarding this company such a substantial amount of our tax dollars.
My investigation into this company and its holdings are not complete and once I have gathered the information I will publish it via the same format as this. The people of this beloved nation need to hold President Jagdeo and his croonies accountable for this robbery.
We cannot allow this company to get rich off the back of the poor man.
Tyrone L. Talbot
