Police conduct raids in Albouystown
Around mid-morning yesterday heavily armed ranks of the Guyana Police Force conducted raids at several locations in Albouystown.
During one of the raids at least six men were arrested. This newspaper was told that the men were arrested after they were found with small quantities of marijuana.
Reports are that this exercise is all a part of the police probe into the recent execution style killings. The police had, in a statement, noted that they will be stepping up their operation in and around the city.
