Members of the Club seen having a go at the go-kart track.
Two major corporate entities have pledged their support for the 4-stroke five-race go-kart championships which is scheduled to be staged in November on a date to be announced.
According to a member of the Organising Committee, lucrative rewards will be at stake including a first prize of $250,000 and the races will be held in two categories, the junior and senior divisions.
The organiser added that all competitors are expected to supply their own chassis, while they’ve consented to provide engines.
E-Networks and Pit Stop Bar are among the first set of sponsors to signal their intentions to get on board.
Among the drivers listed to participate are Mark Vieira, Shayne Seebarran, Jerry Max Gouveia and Vishok Persaud.
Entrance to the venue is free.
