No more ticket handover at Harbour Bridge
Management of the Demerara Harbour Bridge Corporation has fully implemented closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras on the structure, thus ending the obligatory practice of tickets being collected at its Western end, an operation which has been in place for most of the 32 years of the bridge’s existence. Yesterday, commuters were instructed to proceed with their tickets.
