Members of the Guyana Police Force are calling on the public to help identify the remains of the woman who was found with her throat slit aback of the seawalls.
Up to press time yesterday no one had come forward to identify the woman’s whose remains were still at the Lyken Funeral home.

Around 10:30 hours on Saturday last, the militated body of a woman was found on the Georgetown Seawall in the vicinity of the NIS Sports Club.
A police official said that the victim’s throat bore two gaping wounds. Police believe that she was slain some time Friday night.
