Novices Boxing championships get underway tonight
Boxing pundits are in for a treat when the Guyana Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) stages the annual Novices boxing championships at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue starting tonight and concluding on Sunday night.
Boxers from gyms across the country are expected to engage in furious combat in the first tournament on the GABA calendar. Those gyms expected to participate are Harpy Eagles, Forgotten Youth Foundation, Andrew Sixhead Lewis Boxing Gym, Guyana Defense Force, and the Donald Allison Ricola Boxing gym, Agricola.
Boxers will be at the National Gymnasium this morning for the weigh in ceremony. The action commences at 19:00hrs sharp.
