The East Coast Cricket Board has announced a squad of 20 Under-19 players from which their final team will be selected for the upcoming Demerara Cricket Board U-19 competition.
The players participated in the East Coast Cricket Board/Trophy Stall U-19 competition. This squad was named after the first trial match held on Saturday March 20 at the Lusignan Community Centre ground.
The final team will be selected after the second trial match scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday March 23. There will be several practice sessions to prepare the team for the Demerara Cricket Board Under-19 tournament.
The ECCB have named a management team to work with the squad which includes Manager Raymond Barton, Coach Hardeo Sattaur and Latchman Yadram.
The squad: Delroy Charles, Arif Habib, Steve Ramdass, Poorendra Jaigobin, Amir Mohamed, Yuvraj Dyal, Darrel Fredericks, Kevin Singh, Denesh Mangal, Daryl Ross, Azad Mohamed, Royston Simon, Daniel Gravesande, Leon D’Aguiar, Navendra Budhai, Alex Chisholm, Gajanand Sukhnanan, Errol Williams, Navin Singh and Shiveshwar Lall.
