Car plunges into Farm’s trench during speed racing
Four men escaped serious injury Friday night after the Honda car they were in lost control on the East Bank Demerara Public road.
Persons on the scene after the accident said that the driver and others in the car were drinking in Grove and were “racing” with another car when they ended in the trench in front of the new housing scheme at Farm.
The other car reportedly left the scene hurriedly. A tow-truck had to be called to pull the car from the trench.
