Do we have to protest to get this done?
Dear Editor,
I express my frustration and disgust at the deplorable state of GuySuCo’s Albion Estate main access road.
This road has countless potholes and it’s a nightmare for drivers, motor cyclists, pedal cyclists as well as pedestrians.
There are six villages that are using this road as their main access to the Public Road.
I must say that, GuySuCo is doing some patching-up work, but it is not of a good standard and it is not enough.
A lot of government officials traverse this road regularly, including the President and Cabinet members and yet for that, nobody sees it fit to do something about this road.
I am calling on the relevant authorities or whoever is responsible, either government or GuySuCo to so some serious work on this road.
Or do we have to protest to get things done, as it is the norm in this country.
