Road accidents are fast becoming a normal part of life and there seems to be no end in sight. More and more motorists continue to ignore basic traffic rules and the rules of the road with serious consequences for those who get in their way.
A collision in the heart of the city would further highlight the nonsense that passes for road use in Guyana. The unfortunate thing is that children would be involved and their parents, already hard pressed to make ends meet, would feel that the world is grossly unfair to them.

There is going to be a robbery as gunmen attack a facility that deals with sums of money. The attack would be well staged and would have been successful but for a police patrol in the vicinity.
It could have been avoided if the security in place was as vigilant as they should have been.
Gunshots would ring out and by a stroke of luck innocent people would be spared but the fear would reverberate across the city.

An investigation into a recent river collision, of which I warned of, would see people being sent home. One of them would be placed before the courts on a charge of reckless endangerment.
And the fallout from another river incident would see a massive lead unfolding. Two Guyanese men are going to be taken into custody in a Caribbean island having traveled to Venezuela.
