Already there have been more fires in recent weeks than there have been all year. People want to blame the weather conditions but the truth is that the spirits are enjoying what they do best—cause confusion in the minds of people.
They come from many quarters. Some are associated with the earth and these are the ones that cause all the road accidents. Others are associated with water and they are responsible for the river collisions and even the recent attack that left some people dead and others in court.
Those dealing with the wind are quiet and one can rest assured that there would be no noise of houses collapsing.
But the fire spirits are at large. There is going to be even more fires, some sparked by the careless discharge of waste. But the next one would be influenced by jealousy.
A small domicile would be the next target and the spirits would be happier still.

A quarrel is going to erupt between warring neighbours just south of the city. It would turn deadly because visiting relatives would become involved. They are the ones who would actually initiate the attack that would result in a fatality.
Of course there would be an attempt to escape to a country east of Guyana as is often the case. The police would make no effort to stop the flight.
