The Flying Stars Cycle Club will host the seventh annual Victor Macedo Memorial Cycle Race tomorrow, with the event scheduled to pedal off outside Macedo’s residence located at Lance Gibbs and Peter Rose Streets, Queenstown.
According to one of the officials from the club, Julian Alves, the race will commence with a “rolling start” from the residence while cyclist will officially ride off at the Kitty Pump Station on Vlissengen Road.
Senior cyclist will then proceed to Half Way Tree, Perseverance near Mahaicony while all junior and veteran riders will turn back at Mahaica. Cyclists are asked to register with their 2009 Guyana Cycling Federation licence.
