A. Khan Lumber Yard U-19 final set for tomorrow
The A. Khan Lumber Yard Under-19 Cricket final between Cornelia Ida (CI) and Parika Warriors is fixed for tomorrow, at Parika Salem Ground, East Bank Essequibo.
The Warriors are out for revenge after losing to CI in the preliminary round by 6 wickets. Cornelia Ida will look for runs from Vickash Dahaniram and Ameer Khan, while the bowling department Harrinarine Bissoondyal is expected to lead the way.
Warriors would look to the attacking Michael Goberdhan and Captain Kenworth Smith with the bat, while Edwin Burnette is expected to head the bowling attack.
The winning team pocket $25,000 and a trophy. The runners-up receive $15,000 and a trophy.
The man-of-the-match, the batman with the most runs in the competition and the bowler with the most wickets will each receive $5,000 and a trophy.
