Dr. Van West Charles is misguided and misinformed

Dear Editor,
I read with interest an article printed in the media, under the hands of Dr. Van West Charles in which he stated that, “there should be apology for past wrongs. I agree with Dr. Charles that mistakes should be admitted to and apologies should be made.
I wish to provide Dr Van West Charles with the list of some of the confessions he is requesting.
I am a Guyanese and hereby wish to confess not only to wrong doings but also serious crimes committed in Guyana;

1. Imprisonment, torture and murder and the disappearance of hundreds of young black men without due process by criminal elements of the Joint Services and members of the political arm of the PPP; Phantom gangs headed by the disgraced Minister and an alleded drug lord.
2. The wanton arrest of a 14-year-old boy in Buxton and the subsequent torturing of him into confession for crimes he did not committee.
3. Padding the voters list and rigging the last elections
4. Unleashing criminal gang on political marches to rob and steal; riding motor cycles into political demonstrations seriously injuring demonstrators.
5. Rewarding criminal element of the Joint forces who was accused of extra judicial killing with promotion
6. Putting squeeze on the villages – social and economic
7. Imposition of Value Added Tax (VAT)
8. Transforming Guyana into a Narco State
9. Turning Guyana into a Failed State
10. Reducing the Government into a cesspool of corruption
11. Reducing the judiciary and the Guyana Bar Association into a group of spineless insects

Now Dr. Van West Charles if you would like more confessions, you would have to bring in the Torture Squad from the Joint Services, and I am sure there would be more confessions if they implement the Demerara River style of water boarding and burning with corrosive acid.
Is this the confession you want Dr. Charles?
This looks like the PPP Confession.
Dr. Charles I can understand that you are confused; you got your facts wrong. I can understand that you got your facts wrong because you slept in foreign land for 19 years.
