Police at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri, at 12:50 hours yesterday arrested a Guyanese man, who was an outgoing passenger aboard a flight bound for Trinidad. The man was arrested by ranks of the police Narcotics Branch after 2.5 kgs of cocaine were found concealed in his suitcase.
The man whose address was listed as Sheriff Street, Section K, Campbellville was headed to a final destination in St. Lucia.
He is expected to be charged soon.
