Twenty-six-year-old shopkeeper, Primini Umroo, of Lot 143, Section C, Enterprise, East Coast Demerara, appeared in court on Monday before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, charged with forging a document.
It is alleged that the accused on February 13, last, intended to defraud Immigration Officer 20237 at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport by forging the immigration date that was issued on the document.
She pleaded not guilty.
The accused, who is married with two children, aged one year and nine months, was placed on $95,000 bail and ordered by the Magistrate to return to court on March 1.
