Victim clings to life on life-support machine
Up to press time yesterday, 30-year-old Terrence Plummer, who was shot in the head during a robbery on Sheriff Street, was still clinging to life.
According to the man’s mother, Paro Sukhu, a CT scan was done yesterday, and it revealed that her son was shot twice in the head.
The woman said the scan showed that one of the bullets shattered into several pieces in the brain, while the other has lodged in his forehead.
She said she was told by doctors that he is being kept alive only by a life-support machine.
In the meantime, police have not located a suspect in the matter. On Sunday morning, Plummer was shot during a robbery while at the Imperial Restaurant on Sheriff Street. The man was relieved of his gold chain, while his friend was relieved of a cellular phone.
