Motorcyclist dies in Crabwood Creek accident
A motorcyclist who lived at Crabwood Creek was killed on Friday evening on the Crabwood Creek Public Road following a collision with another motorcyclist.
Reports are that 20-year-old Ramesh Rambarran died at the New Amsterdam Hospital while receiving treatment.
This newspaper was told that the accident occurred at some time around 19:00 hours.
According to reports, the two motorcyclists were heading in opposite directions when a vehicle stopped suddenly on the road, forcing Rambarran to swerve to avoid a collision with the vehicle. In the process, he rode into the path of the other motorcyclist.
Both men were picked up and rushed to the hospital, where Rambarran died while receiving treatment.
The other motorcyclist is said to be hospitalized.
