Footballer Nicholas Sancho, 21, of David Street, Kitty, was refused bail on a charge of attempted rape when he appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson on Friday last.
It is alleged that the accused, on January 20 last, at David Street, Kitty, attempted to commit carnal knowledge with a minor. Sancho was not required to plead.
He will have to return to court on Friday, 6th.
