I am very much surprised at the nominations for the Accolade (the music Awards of Guyana) in the Chutney category.
What happened with Mahendra Ramkellawan, Harresh Singh and Girley Persaud?
Mahendra Ramkellawan is the top and most popular chutney singer in Guyana presently, who has done many recordings. Harresh Singh, who hails from Essequibo, won the Chutney singing-competition for three consecutive years with his own compositions and Girley Persaud, the raining Chutney Queen with her composition.
What criteria were used in arriving at these artistes nominated by whom?
