The Guyana Darts Association (GDA) will stage two days of pulsating darts this Saturday and Sunday, 25 and 26 at the Clerical Commercial Worker’s Union office, Quamina Street, Georgetown, starting at 17:00hrs and 14:00hrs, respectively.

Among the top men expected to be in action are Lalchan Rambharose, Kerry Fitzgerald and national champion Norman Mahdoo.
The women will also be in action and all eyes will be riveted on, defending singles champion Rosetta Hiralal who will attempt to maintain her reign. Other notable women players include, Jean Singh, Hemwattie Amyan and Jean DeSouza among others.
The games scheduled for Saturday are the Four Member Team Tournament, the Mixed Doubles and the Mixed Triples. On Sunday the Men and Ladies All Singles will be contested along with the Men and Ladies All Doubles.
Meanwhile, a release from the GDA disclosed that National Men’s Singles Champion, Norman Mahdoo will leave for Barbados on November 13 to participate in the Bryden’s tournament which is the qualifier for the World Darts tournament.
Madhoo is no stranger to this level of competition having won once in 2004 in Barbados.
