Johnson to captain Demerara in El Dorado Inter-County tourney
Carmichael, Carew & Sarwan are new faces in team
Former Guyana under-19 player Kellon Carmichael, former national under-15 batsman Ravi Sarwan and Dion Carew are the new faces in the 14-man Demerara squad released yesterday by the Demerara cricket selectors.
Demerara being their El Dorado Inter-County title defence against Essequibo at Bourda on Friday before taking on Berbice the next day at Blairmont and the team will be captained by West Indies player Leon Johnson.
The full squad reads: Leon Johnson (Captain) Shemroy Barrington, Rajendra Chandrika, Chris Barnwell, Krishna Deosarran, Steven Jacobs, Orin Forde, Zaheer Mohamed, Sauid Drepaul, Ravi Sarwan, Joseph Perry, Deon Ferrier, Joseph Perry, Kellon Carmichael, and Deon Carew.
