Petama Enterprise whip CID Headquarters in feature softball cricket match
Petama Enterprise defeated CID in a feature softball cricket match on Friday night at the Everest Cricket ground.
Petama Enterprise made 252 for 5 in 25 overs. Sheik Mohamed made 94 not out (5x6s 6x4s) and Rickey Deonarine 86 (10x6s. 5x4s) being the principal scorers. Philip Azores took 2 for 37 and Lloyd Lyte 1 for 45 for the police.
CID made 199 all out in 23 overs in reply with Azores returning to strike 42 (3x6s), Munilall Persaud 24 (3x6s) and Linden Lord 22. Bowling for the winners, Rohan Boojraj took 3 for 12 and Jailall Deodas 2 for 16.
For CID Philip Azores took the best batsman trophy, Munilall Persaud best bowler trophy and Orin Proctor collected the trophy for taking the best catch, while Linden Lord claimed the best fielder trophy.
For Petama, Rickey Deonarine was the best batsman, Rohan Boojraj best bowler, Reaz Hussain held the best catch and Jailall Deodas took the best fielder trophy.
Sheik Mohamed took the man-of-the-match trophy.
